And this looks like a year when the producers have started to emphasize story and characters also when the film is a digital effects spectacle. The screenwriters Michael France (The Hulk) and Mark Frost (Twin Peaks) have created some witty dialogue (the fun is doubled for the reader of the Finnish subtitles). The characters look a bit plastic even in their "normal" incarnations. It's one of the current transitional works between animation and live-action.
