Laajenevassa universumissa, kosmisessa juhlapuheiden melussa, silmä aina iskun mustuttamana. Kudrjavka – pikku kippura on teos, jonka keskiössä on Laika-koiran avaruuteen lähettäminen vuonna 1957. Laikan alkuperäinen nimi oli Kurdrjavka.
In an expanding universe, in the cosmic noise of celebratory speeches, with an eye always blackened by a punch. Kudryavka – Little Ball of Fur is a piece centering around the launch of Laika the dog into space in 1957. Laika’s original name was Kudryavka.
AA: Кудрявка was the original name of Laika, the first dog in space. A witty visual poem, humoristically recycling pompous official vintage newsreels of ceremonies, featuring Laika and Khrushchev among others, courtesy Gosteleradiofond Russia. It's solemn, it's in a foreign language, it has electronic music, it's about being a stranger, it's about time and space.
